This is the second phase of the DC Extended Universe. It consists of eight films, two television series, and two mini-series. It started with Martian Manhunter in 2018, and ended with Justice Society: Legacy in 2021.
Overview
Phase 2 is centered around developing characters from Justice League as well as further building the world and the multiverse. Films like Martian Manhunter, Aquaman, The Flash, The Batman, and Wonder Woman were meant to develop the Justice League members outside of Superman. Then with films like Shazam! and Green Arrow, those are meant to build the world outside of the Justice League, as well as introducing more members to be inducted in future films. This all culminates into Justice League II.
The television series introduced also ties into Justice League, with Teen Titans being seen as a younger Justice League dealing with their own assorted villains. Then with Elseworlds, it introduces the idea of the multiverse in the DCEU which then ties into Justice League II.
The mini-series show the main villain of Justice League with Luthor. It shows Lex's development from prior to learning about Superman to the aftermath of Justice League. Justice Society: Legacy showcases the revived Golden Age version of the Justice League with the Justice Society. It also serves as a sequel to Doctor Fate.
